At Glamour Beauty and Brows Training Institute, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive education in the art and science of permanent cosmetics. Our Permanent Cosmetics Program is meticulously designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this rapidly growing field.


Program Overview

  • Duration: 200 hours
  • Schedule: Part-time
  • Textbook: Milady Standard Esthetics: Fundamentals

Objectives


Our program focuses on:


  • Teaching safe and effective permanent makeup application techniques.


  • Providing a foundation in business practices and marketing strategies relevant to the beauty industry.


  • Preparing students for a career that offers flexibility and the potential for self-employment.

The curriculum includes:



Theory, Lab, and Clinical Instruction:


  • Virginia Laws and Regulations
  • Machines and Devices
  • Needles and Anatomy
  • Color Theory
  • Immunization and Infection Control
  • Sanitation and Disinfection
  • Client Safety and Bloodborne Pathogen Training
  • Professional Standards and Ethics
  • Equipment Handling and Anesthetics
  • Permanent Cosmetic Techniques

Practical Experience


  • Completion of a minimum of 50 procedures, with two complete eyebrows or eyeliners counting as one performance.

Admission Requirements

Prospective students must:


  • Provide documentation of satisfactory completion of health education on bloodborne diseases (available online or in person).
  • Supply models for live services during the program; the institute will provide models for instructor demonstrations only.

Accreditation


Our program is not eligible for Title IV financial aid due to the program's length. We are Licensed and Approved by the Department of Professional and Regulations (DPOR).
